Recreation Mission

To provide people with disabilities opportunities for a healthier, more active, peer oriented social and recreational lifestyle.

Driven by the expressed needs and interests of our clients, over one hundred activities are provided during the program year!

Participants are challenged to try activities they never dreamed possible (swimming, hiking, skiing) and have fun socializing with peers, friends, and family members in cultural activities, potlucks, and craft classes.

We have monthly activities for a wide range of interests and abilities. We promote peer support and encouragement in a nurturing environment.

CFI is a 2008 recipients of a Lion’s Club Grant

MANY THANKS LION’S for all your support!  We participated in this year’s Lion’s Club Carnival Parade by decorating our bus as “101 Dalmations” [in keeping with this year’s “cartoon” theme], AND CFI baked 65 cakes for the Carnival event!

Many thanks to our Board, Staff, and most of all our clients for helping us to bake so many cakes, and for riding or walking the parade route, AND helping to decorate “GUS THE BUS” for the parade.

You are welcome to stop by and see our facility, but please understand if we cannot accommodate your request for service immediately – we will be happy to set up an appointment for you!
