What is Low Vision?
Eye diseases or health conditions such as Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), cataracts, diabetes, and glaucoma are a major cause of ‘Low Vision’. Although it may not be possible to restore lost vision, vision loss can be managed with proper treatment and vision rehabilitation.
Vision Rehabilitation programs offer a wide range of services, including training for magnifying and adaptive devices, ways to complete daily living skills safely and independently, guidance on modifying you home, and information where to locate resources and support to help you cope with your vison loss.;
